UGC-NET December 2024: NTA extends deadline

NTA extends UGC-NET December 2024 application deadline to December 11, 11:59 p.m., allowing candidates more time to apply.
The National Testing Agency has decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for UGC - NET December 2024 following requests from candidates. Candidates can now submit their application forms by December 11, 2024.
Candidates can make corrections in the details submitted by them in their application forms online through the correction window at the official website during the period when the correction window is made live.
If any candidate faces difficulty in applying for the exam, they may contact on 011 - 40759000 or 011 - 69227700 or send an e-mail at ugcnet@nta.ac.in.
The NTA has been entrusted by the UGC with the task of conducting UGC-NET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for (i) award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor, (ii) appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D. and (iii) admission to Ph.D. only in Indian universities and colleges.
The NTA will conduct UGC – NET December 2024 for 85 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
