UDISE+ Report: More children to get access to hand wash, electricity

UDISE+ Report has been released by the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal.

Nearly 17 % of schools in the country suffered from a lack of electricity in 2019-20 and many of them did not have even a basic hand wash facility, according to the United Information System for Education Plus (UDISE+) 2019-20 report for School Education released by Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal on Thursday. However, the positive side is that the number of schools gaining these basic amenities is rising fast.
