At a press conference on Monday, Union minister Narayan Rane claimed Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray's house was illegally constructed. He attacked the CM over a number of issues.
Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Narayan Rane claimed on Monday that Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray’s house was illegally constructed.
He said, “Uddhav Thackeray wanted to demolish my house. His house is illegal but I will not demolish it.”
In February this year, the Mumbai civic body sent Narayan Rane a notice, alleging that construction work was carried out at his Juhu bungalow without permission. The Union minister had denied the allegation.
At a press conference on Monday, Narayan Rane attacked Uddhav Thackeray over a number of issues. He said he was ashamed to call Uddhav Thackeray the chief minister of Maharashtra. “If Balasaheb Thackeray was alive today, he would never have made Uddhav the CM,” he was quoted as saying by ANI news agency.
The BJP minister also called Uddhav Thackeray’s address at a massive rally in Mumbai on Saturday ‘bogus’.
“Uddhav said his Hindutva is not the kind that burns houses but the kind that gives fire to the stoves of people’s homes. I want to ask Uddhav how many jobs have you provided to the youth? How many homes’ stoves have you lit?” Narayan Rane asked.
“By now, 75 per cent sewage work should have been done in Mumbai. But the work is not being done. As a result, the public will suffer in the monsoon. The government is responsible for this,” he added.
