Twinkle Khanna took to Instagram to share a photo of the inheritance she received from her grandmother, Betty Kapadia. She called it an inheritance that goes beyond tiered boxes and yarn.

Twinkle Khanna recently shared a fond memory of her grandmother, Betty Kapadia, who died at the age of 80 in 2019. Twinkle gave a glimpse of the inheritance she got from Betty on Instagram. It’s a sewing kit which Twinkle holds dear. In her words, it’s ‘an inheritance that goes beyond tiered boxes and yarn’. Twinkle Khanna posted a picture of the sewing kit passed on to her by her nani and a white shirt featuring floral embroidery. Describing the skill as a work in progress, Twinkle wrote about her nani, “My Nani’s sewing kit-An inheritance that goes beyond tiered boxes and yarn. If she could see this I am sure she would wrinkle her nose and say, ‘Tina, give it to me, I have to redo your chain stitch.’ #WhenFingersFlyAndTheMindStaysStill #workinprogress (sic).”
