TVS iQube Electric price slashed after FAME II subsidy revision

The new pricing is in line with the recently announced revision in subsidy under the FAME II scheme by the government.

TVS Motor Company announced the revised pricing for its electric scooter, TVS iQube Electric, at Rs 11,250, and now costs Rs 1,00,777 in Delhi, and Rs 1,10,506 (all prices ex-showroom, India) in Bengaluru. The new pricing is in line with the recently announced revision in subsidy under the FAME II scheme by the government, as the improved incentives will increase the penetration of electric two-wheelers in the country. The TVS iQube Electric is equipped with a 4.4kW electric motor to deliver a max speed of 78kmph and traverses 75km at full charge. The TVS iQube Electric comes with an acceleration of 0 to 40kmph in 4.2 seconds. The electric scooter is equipped with the next-gen TVS SmartXonnect platform and comes with a TFT cluster and TVS iQube app, along with multiple features such as geo-fencing, remote battery charge status, navigation assist, last park location, incoming call alerts/SMS alerts among others. The TVS iQube Electric offers a dedicated home charging solution with Bluetooth connectivity, live charging status and RFID enabled security. At present, charging units for the scooter are installed across seven locations in Delhi. Further, the company is developing an expansive public charging ecosystem in the city, by expanding its network strength with additional dealer partners.
