TVK chief Vijay files revised nominations in Perambur and Tiruchi East, addressing discrepancies and disclosing pending legal cases.
On behalf of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam president C. Joseph Vijay, a fresh set of revised nominations has been filed in Perambur and Tiruchi East Assembly constituencies, where the actor-politician is making his electoral debut in the upcoming elections.

In the revised set of nominations, Mr. Vijay has declared two cases pending against him — one at the Peravallur police station for allegedly violating election norms in the Kolathur Assembly seat, where he campaigned on March 30 after filing his nominations. Another case was registered at the Koodakovil police station in Madurai district, which pertains to an incident in August 2025 during the second TVK conference, when an enthusiastic TVK supporter who climbed on the ramp was allegedly pushed by Mr. Vijay’s bouncers following which he suffered injuries.
The revised set of nominations has been filed correcting earlier discrepancies, including variations in his age; the value of shares held in Jaya Nagar Property Pvt. Ltd; the value of silver in the name of his spouse, Sangeetha; the total estimated market value of immovable assets in the names of Mr. Vijay and his spouse; and details of movable assets in the names of Jason Sanjay and his daughter, Divya Shasha.
