Ajith Kumar's long-pending film, Valimai, released in theatres today, February 24. His die-hard fans celebrated the occasion in a grand manner.

The wait is finally over! It's Valimai Day today and Ajith Kumar's fans are over the moon seeing their favourite actor on-screen. After two long years, Valimai has finally seen the light of the day. Throughout Tamil Nadu, early morning (4 am) shows were organised at several theatres for fans. From pouring milk on the cut-outs of Ajith to bursting crackers, Ajith's fans had a great time.

Produced by Boney Kapoor, Valimai was announced back in 2019. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the film's shooting and release were delayed multiple times. After getting postponed several times, Valimai finally saw the light of the day today, February 24.

The early morning shows saw scores of fans celebrating the release of Valimai. Huge cut-outs of Ajith were erected outside theatres and fans poured milk to celebrate the occasion. Producer Boney Kapoor visited Rohini Silverscreen in Chennai. Ajith's fans poured milk and curd on Boney Kapoor's car on the release day of Valimai.
