In the final moments of “EPiC,” Baz Luhrmann’s visual spectacle built around Elvis’ culture-shaking ‘70s residency at the Las Vegas International Hotel, Bono rap-reads a condensed and slightly tweaked version of his poem “American David,” written more than 20 years ago.
