"Good Morning America" host Lara Spencer is getting "thrifty".
In addition to her work on "GMA," Spencer is making fashion and design part of her brand with her newest "That Thrifting Show," a 12-episode competition series, premiering March 19. Spencer, an executive producer on the project, will also serve as the show host.
"It is so meaningful to share my childhood love of thrifting and celebrate this new generation's passion for sustainable design," Spencer said in a statement.
The vintage design expert will accompany two designer duos as they work to create "beautiful, layered, finished rooms" with limited time and budget. Teams are required to "treasure hunt" for furniture at vintage (thrift) stores.
A panel of "style experts," including Robert Hartwell, Dani Klaric and Preston Konrad, will judge the DIY-ed rooms and crown a winner.
