That "Drivers License" drama is so 2021.
In a new British Vogue profile published Thursday, March 19, Olivia Rodrigo heaped praise on fellow pop star Sabrina Carpenter and said there's no bad blood between the two. The comments came five years after the singers were embroiled in drama over an alleged love triangle that seemingly inspired them to each write songs about the situation.
"I think she's great," Rodrigo, 23, said of Carpenter, 26. "I'm so happy for all of her success too. I love the album she's put out." In the article, Vogue wrote that Rodrigo sounded "genuine" but also seemed "tense" while making the comments and thinking ahead to the headlines her remarks would generate.
"No, no, no, it's good," Rodrigo clarified. "It's just people just get weird and clickbaity — it's all love, though. I've talked to her many times."
