BJP leader Ruby Khan has claimed that she is receiving threats from maulanas for worshipping Lord Ganesh in her house.
BJP leader Ruby Khan has said she received threats from Muslim clerics for installing a Ganesh idol at her house in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut. She also said a fatwa was issued against her when the foundation stone for the Ram Temple was laid and she worshipped in her house.
"I've established the idol of Lord Ganesha in my house for 7 days & will immerse it with due diligence. Even after the foundation stone of the Ram temple was laid, I worshipped in my house, after which a fatwa was issued against me," she said.
"They have all stood against me. Now, these people want to kill me. I am getting threats. I am not one to be afraid. I will immerse Lord Ganesh. My husband is with me," she said.
She said she was targeted even in the past. However, she is not afraid and would immerse the Ganesh idol along with her husband with all the rituals.

Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son, Tej Pratap, is speaking of wisdom and devotion again. He's no longer the Krishna bhakt that he was. He is now sporting saffron attire in Reels, and is propagating Shiva bhakti. His new Instagram handle is SantTejPratapYadav. After political and personal isolation, Teju bhaiya seems to have found solace in Rudraksha, Shiva bhajans and the Shiva Puran.
