Ashoka University has said in a statement on Sunday that there have “been some lapses in institutional process” over the recent resignations of Professor Pratap Bhanu Mehta and Arvind Subramanian that triggered a row over free speech. The statement issued by Chancellor Rudrangshu Mukherjee, Vice-Chancellor Malabika Sarkar says, “We acknowledge that there have been some lapses in institutional processes which we will work to rectify in consultation with all stakeholders.” The statement further says that Pratap Bhanu Mehta and Arvind Subramanian will “remain lifelong friends and well-wishers of the institution” and also remain available “for advice and consultation to the University in the future”.More Related News
