"The View" cohosts seldom agree, but they've seemingly reached a consensus about weight-loss drugs.
The women, including guest Savannah Chrisley, had the opportunity to dish on GLP-1s after a clip of Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker seemingly dodging a reporter's question about the medication was shown.
"In (Pritzker's) state, he expanded GLP-1 coverage for state employees with taxpayer dollars. So, you can't do that while not answering those tough questions about GLP-1s," Chrisley said during the Feb. 18 episode of the daytime talk show. "And GLP-1s, I'm in the business of selling GLP-1s, so there is no shame around it."
"That's the thing," Chrisley added. "That has been something that people are made to feel so much shame around doing, and it isn't. People do it for health-related reasons. I personally did it because I was pre-diabetic."
As Sunny Hostin jotted down some details about Chrisley's company Good Girl Rx, which sells weight-loss drugs, fellow cohosts Whoopi Goldberg, 70, and Joy Behar, 83, couldn't help but chime in, revealing that they, too, had lost substantial weight thanks to GLP-1s.
