Raj & DK shared a still from The Family Man 2 trailer to pay tribute to Asif Basra. The late actor has a small role in the web series.

Raj & DK, the directors of Manoj Bajpayee-starrer The Family Man 2, took to Instagram to remember Asif Basra, who died by suicide in November last year. The directors shared a still of Basra from the recently released trailer of the web series and penned a note for him. Asif Basra was found hanging at a private complex in Dharamshala. He was 53. He played a pivotal role in The Family Man 2. Asif Basra, who died of suicide in November last year, worked with Raj & DK for the second season of The Family Man. Paying him tribute, the directors shared a still of Basra from the trailer of the web series, which is releasing on Amazon Prime Video on June 4. The caption reads, "Many of us have been affected by the loss of a loved one in the last year. Asif Basra shot with us for Season 2. He was brilliant! And losing him to suicide has left us heartbroken! May your soul find peace and comfort wherever you are... Asif Basra! (sic)."
