Telangana CM Revanth Reddy to meet legislators to discuss Socio-Economic Survey and SC sub-categorisation reports.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will hold a meeting with the party legislators at the MCRHRD Institute in Hyderabad on Thursday afternoon (February 6, 2025).
The meeting assumes significance in wake of the Socio-Economic Survey report approved in the State Legislature along with the presentation of the Scheduled Castes sub-categorisation report in the both the Houses of the Legislature.
The meeting, to be attended by TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud, AICC in charge Deepadas Munshi and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, will take feedback on the two major initiatives of the government. The meeting is expected to discuss at length on how to take the survey and sub-categorisation among the masses keeping in view the local bodies polls.
Sources said the Chief Minister is likely to give a road map to the elected representatives on the strategy to be adopted during the local bodies polls. It is understood that the issue of a few first time Congress MLAs holding a meeting and discussing the prevailing situation and the government’s performance will also come up for discussion.
The meeting it is understood saw the legislators directing their ire on the Ministers and lamenting that they were not being given due importance by the Cabinet Ministers. They also complained about their works in the constituencies not being considered by the Ministers.
