The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has decided to stage Statewide protests against the rising prices of petrol, diesel and essential commodities, on August 28. TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting with the party’s top brass on Monday. An action plan was chalked out at the meeting to stage protests to highlight the plight of the common man.More Related News

Although students from Tamil Nadu remain the leading recipients of educational loans across India, there has been a significant decline in the number of active loans they hold. The number of active education loan accounts decreased from 27.4 lakh accounts to about 20.1 lakh in the period. The fall can be mostly attributed to the fall in Tamil Nadu’s numbers.
