India Today
The schools in Tamil Nadu have been shut down from today onwards in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic situation across the country.
The government of Tamil Nadu has taken the decision to close all the schools in the state from today, March 22. The schools will remain closed for the time being and the date of reopening has not been communicated by the government yet. The decision to close the schools was taken to ensure the safety of students amid the spike in Covid-19 cases across the state. Though the schools have been closed for students of classes 9 to 11, the students of classes 12 will still have to appear for physical lessons. The students of class 12 have been permitted to attend offline lessons in schools in Tamil Nadu as the number of students is less and they have to appear for the board exams in the upcoming months, which are crucial for their future.
Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access. With heavy traffic expected on official websites, this alternative option ensures students can check their scores without delays or technical glitches.
