Tamil Nadu schools will soon be reopened for nursery, kindergarten as Covid-19 cases are declining in the state.
Tamil Nadu nursery, kindergarten, and play schools will be reopened, said the state government. As the number of Covid-19 cases is decreasing in the state, fresh guidelines have been issued. Now, 200 people will be allowed for weddings and 100 people will be permitted to attend funerals.
Additionally, the state has also given permission to hold exhibitions. Till March 2, all other Covid-19 restrictions and relaxations will continue to exist. Earlier, the state government declared holidays till January 31 for Classes 10 to 12.
School reopening guidelines were released by the Ministry of Education on Thursday, February 3, 2022. The guidelines have been prepared after consultation with states about the reopening of schools. The school reopening guidelines will include precaution, timetable, assessment, emotional, and mental health.
