Tamil Nadu government has decided to promote the students of Classes 1 to 8 to their higher grade without the conduction of final exams.
The government of Tamil Nadu has announced that the students of Classes 1 to 8 have all been promoted to their higher classes without the conduction of final exams this year. This decision was taken by the government in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. A circular has been released by the Tamil Nadu State Education Department, which states that the government has declared the students of Classes 1 to 8 all pass, without the conduction of final exams this year in view of the pandemic situation in the state. Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami said, “They have been promoted after taking into consideration the unprecedented circumstances, the request from parents, and the opinions of the educationists.”More Related News
