Tamil Nadu govt. appoints senior IPS officer Bala Naga Devi as DGP, Intelligence

Tamil Nadu appoints IPS officer B. Bala Naga Devi as DGP, Intelligence, enhancing her leadership in state security.
The Tamil Nadu government has posted B. Bala Naga Devi, a 1995-batch IPS officer, as Director General of Police (DGP), Intelligence.
Last December, she was promoted as DGP, Economic Offences Wing, and was also holding the post of DGP, Civil Supplies CID.
An order issued by the Home Department said that Santhosh Kumar, Inspector General of Police, Economic Offences Wing, has now been given additional charge of the post of Additional Director General of Police, Economic Offences Wing. Rupesh Kumar Meena, Inspector General of Police, Civil Supplies CID, will be holding additional charge of the post of Additional Director General of Police, Civil Supplies CID, the order further said.
