Tamil Nadu CM writes to PM Modi alleging 'imbalance' in vaccine allocation

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin has alleged that the state has not been provided its quota of vaccines to inoculate the population in the 18-44 age group.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking his intervention into vaccine allocation alleging that there is an imbalance in the procedure. The chief minister said that Tamil Nadu has received only 29,18,110 vaccines till July 8 for the people in the 18-44 age group and 1,30,08,440 vaccines for those above 45, adding that the state is finding it difficult to meet the huge demand.
