Tamil Nadu BJP raises objection to kids' satirical show for allegedly mocking PM Modi

Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai has alleged that certain scenes from a kids' satirical show mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his policies including demonetisation.

Tamil Nadu BJP has raised objections to a kids' satirical show for allegedly belittling Prime Minister Modi. The state BJP chief K Annamalai alleged that certain scenes from the show mocked the demonetisation of currency done by the centre in 2016.

BJP in a letter to the private channel wrote that the satirical show had taken a dig at PM Modi on various aspects, including demonetisation and his foreign visits. The private channel was asked to cancel the show and apologise for the remarks made.
