Taapsee Pannu reveals how sister Shagun reacted when she bagged Dunki with Shah Rukh Khan

In her recent intervew, Taapsee Pannu revealed how her sister Shagun reacted when she bagged Rajkumar Hirani's film Dunki wth Shah Rukh Khan.

A few days ago, Shah Rukh Khan surprised his fans by announcing his new film, Dunki. For the first time, Taapsee Pannu will be seen sharing screen space with SRK in the Rajkumar Hirani directorial. So far, the actress has shot for 10 days for the film. And she is really excited about working with Shah Rukh Khan in the film. In her recent interview, Taapsee revealed how her sister Shagun reacted when she bagged Dunki with SRK.

Even after Taapsee started shooting for Dunki, the actress' sister Shagun couldn't believe that she was doing the movie with SRK. "Each time I went for a meeting with Raju sir, or reading or any conversation I had with him on phone, every time I came back home, she asked me, ‘Tu abhi bhi hai na film mein?’ My parents, however, didn’t give me any noticeable reaction, also maybe they’ve understood that till the time it happens, let’s not celebrate too early," Taapsee told Hindustan Times.

The actress further revealed her first reaction on learning that she is doing Rajkumar Hirani's film. "There’s no shying away from accepting that I don’t know if it can get bigger than this ever for me. Hence, the disbelief of being a part of it was lingering one till the time I reported on set and the first day of shoot was done," she added.

On the movie front, the actress will next be seen in Shabaash Mithu. It is all set to be released on July 15, 2022.
