Swara Bhasker wants more stake in the stories she is a part of. Says she plans to turn producer

Swara Bhasker will next be seen in Jahaan Chaar Yaar. In an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, she spoke about her plans of donning the producer's hat.

Swara Bhasker’s next film, Jahaan Chaar Yaar is up for release. Also, she plans to start producing films now. Speaking to IndiaToday.in, Swara shared that she would like to support stories that she likes.

Excerpts from the interview:

While we know Swara Bhasker as a great artiste, the actress told us that she is planning to turn producer. "I am beginning to feel that I would like more stake in the stories that I am part of. So, I have written a few scripts which I am trying to get made and trying to turn into a producer. I'm moving towards that," she told IndiaToday.in.

Sharing further details about her film, Swara said, "I have written a story about two friends who are a little messed up and about them finding solace in each other. It's a lovely friendship story, which I am trying to produce now. I would like to act in it but not direct. It's right now in the pre-production stage, so it's not yet gone on floors."

Meanwhile, the actress awaits the release of her next film, Jahaan Chaar Yaar which also stars Shikha Talsania, Meher Vij, and Pooja Chopra. Speaking about the film, Swara said, "I finished dubbing for the film. It's a beautiful, lovely film. It is a story of four housewives and their friendship. It's about their fun adventures, experiences from their lives, a very cute and heartwarming story. I am looking forward to that. It's expected to release this year."
