Sushmita Sen shuts down trolls in new post, says 'I dig deeper than gold'

Sushmita Sen penned a long note as she reacted to being labelled as a 'gold digger' after Lalit Modi revealed that the two are dating. She also wrote that she has always preferred diamonds.
Sushmita Sen hit back at trolls for calling her a 'gold digger'. The actress and former Miss Universe had shared a cryptic post on July 16 on the 'power of noise cancellation'. However, today, she has taken a dig at the 'so called intellectuals' for labelling her as gold digger.
Sushmita Sen took to Instagram on July 15 to react to wedding rumours with Lalit Modi. She shared a new picture of herself from her Maldives vacation with Lalit Modi. She can be seen in a black swimsuit in the picture. Her back is towards the camera while she looks at the sea. Along with the photo, the actress also penned a note.
She wrote, "Perfectly centred in my being & my conscienceI love how nature merges all it’s creation to experience onenessand just how divided we are, when we break that balance. It’s heartbreaking to see just how miserable & unhappy the world around us is becoming (sic)."
She called out people for calling her a gold digger and said that she digs deeper than gold and has always preferred diamonds. "The so called intellectuals with their idiosyncrasies.the ignorant with their cheap & at times funny gossip. The friends I never had & the acquaintances I’ve never met.all sharing their grand opinions & deep knowledge of my life & charactermonetising the ‘Gold Digger’ all the way!!! Ah these geniuses!!! I dig deeper than Goldand I’ve always (famously) preferred Diamonds!! And yes I still buy them myself (sic)," she added.
She also extended warm greetings to her fans and well wishers. She concluded her note with, "I love the all heart support my well wishers & loved ones continue to extend. Please know, your Sush is ABSOLUTELY fine.. cause I’ve never lived on the transient borrowed light of approval & applause. I am the Sun.perfectly Centred in my being & my conscience!!
