Sushmita Sen's ex Rohman Shawl clarifies he's not joining Ekta Kapoor's show Lock Upp

It was earlier reported that Sushmita Sen's ex boyfriend Rohman Shawl will be joining Ekta Kapoor's reality show Lock Upp. However, he has denied all the rumours.

Ekta Kapoor often manages to come up with engaging content, be it on television or in the digital space. On February 3, the TV czarina announced one of the biggest reality shows, Lock Upp. The reality show will stream 24x7 live on ALTBalaji and MX Player. The reality show will see 16 celebrities participating in the show. They will be locked up behind bars and it will be hosted by a Bollywood actress. While the show is yet to premiere, it was earlier reported that Rohman Shawl has been roped in as one of the contestants. However, fashion model and Sushmita Sen's ex-boyfriend has denied the reports.

While the list of contestants hasn't been revealed yet, actress Poonam Pandey is expected to be a part of Lock Upp. It was also reported that Rohman Shawl, who is famous for his appearance in the Amazon Prime series Hear me, Love me, will also be a part of the show as a contestant. He took to his Instagram stories recently to break his silence on rumours of him starring in Lock Upp. Sharing a picture of a media reporting stating the same, Rohman wrote, “Not true. Wish them luck for the show (sic).”

Ekta Kapoor's Lock Upp will be hosted by a Bollywood celebrity and will begin streaming live on both AltBalaji and MX Player from February end. The show will have exciting tasks, dramatic fights, and an interesting mix of contestants who will do anything and everything to survive in the jail. Ekta Kapoor launched Lock Upp in Mumbai on February 3. The show will live stream 24x7. Lock Upp is touted to be the biggest and the most fearless reality show where 16 controversial celebrities will be put together in a lock-up for months and will be stripped of their amenities. It is being claimed to be the world's first metaverse-based fantasy game. It promises to be an engaging captive reality show with all the ingredients that will keep you glued to your seat. A daring celebrity host, compelling tasks, dramatic fights, and an interesting mix of contestants who will do anything and everything to survive in the jail.

Earlier there were reports that the makers are in talks with actresses Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas to host the show.
