Suriya's Jai Bhim was awarded Best Film at the 12th Dadasaheb International Film Festival. Manikandan won Best Supporting Actor for his exceptional performance in the film.
Suriya's Jai Bhim scored top honours at the 12th Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival 2022. While Jai Bhim won the Best Film, Manikandan, who played the role of Rasakannu in the film, received the Best Supporting Actor award at the film festival. The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF) was founded with a mission to celebrate the legacy of Dadasaheb Phalke.
Jai Bhim, directed by Tha Se Gnanavel, skipped theatrical release and premiered directly on Amazon Prime Video. The film received unanimous praise from critics and the audience alike.
On May 3, Jai Bhim received two honours at the 12th Dadasaheb International Film Festival 2022. The film received the Best Film award while Manikandan was bestowed with the Best Supporting Actor award.
