Supreme Court has issued a notice to the central government on a plea challenging the 27% reservation for OBC, and 10% reservation for EWS candidates in the All India Quota for medical studies.
The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the central government on a petition challenging the 27% reservation for OBC, and a 10% reservation for EWS candidates in the All India Quota for undergraduate and postgraduate medical and dental courses (MBBS / MD / MS / Diploma / BDS / MDS) from the current academic year 2021-22 onwards. A notice has also been issued on the petition seeking a stay on this medical reservation policy for the year 2021-22.
