Supernatural brothers Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki to reunite in Amazon Prime Video's The Boys?

After Supernatural, showrunner Eric Kripke and Jensen Ackles have reunited for The Boys, The duo spoke about the possibility of Jared Padalecki joining the Amazon Prime Video series.

Fans simply can’t get enough of Jensen Ackles in Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys Season 3. The actor has been cast as Soldier Boy, a newly-introduced character in the third season of the season. This marks Jensen working with Eric Kripke, showrunner of The Boys, for the second time. Kripke is also the creator for The CW’s Supernatural, which starred Jensen and Jared Padalecki as brothers Dean and Sam Winchester.

Now, with Jensen Ackles joining the cast, everyone’s wondering if Jared Padalecki will also join The Boys brigade. It would be interesting to see Jared play an important role in The Boys Season 3. But, for the fans, even a cameo would suffice. Sharing his thoughts about the same, Kripke expressed that he'd love to have Jared for a cameo in The Boys. “He’s always welcome on the show.” However, nothing is on the cards yet as Jared is busy with another project.

Kripke further added, “Up to now, the guy is on a network show that has however many episodes — like, a lot more than eight. So, he’s working all year and now he’s producing his spin-off and he’s got a whole empire going on over there. He’s been a busy man and it’s been hard to even figure out any time that he’s free. But if he was free and found himself currently unemployed, I would put him on The Boys in a heartbeat."

Echoing Kripke, Jensen said, “As I think we all know, Jared’s pretty busy starring in his own show, producing a spinoff of that show. He’s certainly got his hands full.”
