For one Google employee, a regular workday at the Gurgaon office turned into a career-defining moment when she attended a fireside chat with Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, and even watched him interact with cricketer Shubman Gill.
Taruvar Mittal, who has been with Google for over two and a half years, shared snippets from a fireside chat session attended by employees during Pichai’s visit. The clip shows Pichai interacting informally with staff inside the Gurgaon campus, creating an atmosphere that felt both inspiring and personal.
In the video, Mittal reflects on the milestone moment, saying, “Yup, that’s Sundar Pichai, and that’s me making my 20-year-old self proud.”
Introducing herself as a Googler for the past 2.5 years, she described attending the session as “living the Peak Googler dream.” The visit carried an added surprise when Indian cricketer Shubman Gill appeared and demonstrated his signature batting move to Pichai, blending the worlds of technology and sport in an unexpected way.
