
Students to tailor their own courses as UGC forms Academic Bank of Credits

UGC has formed the Academic Bank of Credits, which will give the students freedom to tailor their own courses in higher studies.
In a path-breaking step towards implementing a key suggestion in the National Education Policy (NEP), the University Grants Commission (UGC) has formed norms for the establishment of an Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) that would help students learn subjects of their choice from multiple colleges and varsities at the same time. The regulations called the University Grants Commission (Establishment and Operation of Academic Banks of Credits in High Education) Regulations, 2021 were notified in the gazette on Wednesday.
Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access. With heavy traffic expected on official websites, this alternative option ensures students can check their scores without delays or technical glitches.
