Srinidhi Shetty is thrilled about her Tamil debut film, Cobra, which is slated to release on August 11. The actress received national recognition after the success of KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF: Chapter 2. This made her charge a whopping amount for her Tamil debut film, Cobra. According to reports, Srinidhi Shetty charged a bomb for Cobra and it is twice than that of what she earned for Cobra.
Srinidhi Shetty played the role of Reena in Yash's KGF series. She received a lot of appreciation for her role in the film.
Post KGF, Srinidhi has been busy promoting her Tamil debut film, Cobra. Recently, she attended the audio launch of Cobra on July 11. The actress is in the news again for the whopping salary she received for Cobra. Apparently, it is twice than what she earned for KGF.
If reports are anything to be believed, Srinidhi charged Rs 3 crore for KGF: Chapter 2. Since KGF tasted stupendous success, she quoted a huge sum of Rs 6 to 7 crore for her Tamil debut, Cobra. The Tamil film, directed by Ajay Gnanmauthu, is being made on a huge budget by SS Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studios.
Cobra is an action thriller directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu of Imaikaa Nodigal fame. The film also features Chiyaan Vikram, Srinidhi Shetty, former cricketer Irfan Pathan, Miya George and Roshan Mathew in important roles. The film has music composed by AR Rahman. Mirnalini Ravi, Sarjano Khalid, Padmapriya, Kanika, KS Ravikumar, Babu Antony and Anandraj will be seen in supporting roles.
