Sony PlayStation 5 might be getting a makeover in the coming year, as reports of a new variant in works make rounds on the web. It is suggested that the upcoming model will have different internal specifications than what is seen in the current PS5 model. The report is based on industry sources cited in a DigiTimes report. As per the sources, suppliers of PS5, including Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited or TSMC, will kick off the production of the new console between the second and third quarters of 2022.
