After SLST-qualified candidates staged a protest demanding job recruitment once again, they were removed forcefully by the police.
A group of State Level Selection Test-qualified candidates was on their way to State Education Minister Bratya Basu's house in Kalindi to show their protest, demanding recruitment, but a scuffle ensued between the protestors and the police soon after.
The protestors were stopped even before they reached the education minister's house. This is the second time that they protested in the same area with a demand for jobs.
