India Today
The Skoda Kushaq price in India is expected to be in the range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Skoda Kushaq's production has commenced in India with the maiden unit of the upcoming mid-size SUV being rolled out today from the SAVWIPL (Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd) plant in Chakan, Pune. While the Kushaq will be launched in the country by the end of June 2021, its deliveries will begin in July 2021. Built on the India-specific MQB-A0-IN variant of the Volkswagen Group's MQB-A0 platform, the Skoda Kushaq will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Tata Harrier and the soon-to-be-launched Volkswagen Taigun. We are expecting the Skoda Kushaq price in India to be between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). "The production rollout of the first car under the India 2.0 project marks a historic milestone for Skoda Auto and the Volkswagen Group in India. It stands testament to a great collaboration between our teams across the globe and here in India. We have managed to achieve localisation levels up to 95 per cent, which truly puts the engineering and manufacturing expertise of India on the global map," SAVWIPL Managing Director Gurpratap Boparai said.
