
Singhu border killing case: Court sends 3 accused to 6-day police custody

Three accused in the Singhu border killing case were remanded to six-day police custody by a district court in Haryana on Sunday. The three would be taken to Punjab by the police for identification of other accused.
A district court in Haryana's Sonipat on Sunday remanded three people from the Nihang community to six-day police custody in connection with the Singhu border killing case.
The accused -- Narayan Singh, Bhagwant Singh and Govind Preet -- were produced before the court of junior Divisional Judge Kimmi Singla. The police had sought 14 days custody of all three accused, stating that they mentioned in their disclosure statement that they can only identify the co-accused by face and not name.

In 2025, the Mizoram CM said Ukraine war veterans were using the state to enter Myanmar. The arrest of 7 foreign nationals by the NIA has prompted experts to suggest that the incidents might be connected.
