Sikh pilgrims who were stuck in Lahore, as violent protests erupted in multiple cities after TLP chief Saad Rizvi’s detention, have got security clearance to move towards Gurdwara Panja Sahib. They will be escorted to the location. Sources in Indian government said over 750 Sikh pilgrims, who were heading to Gurdwara Panja Sahib on the occasion of Baisakhi, are stranded in Lahore. Concerned over the safety and security of the pilgrims at Gurdwara Dehra Sahib, Pakistan, sources in MEA told India Today TV that “Government is monitoring the situation and MEA has contacted the Pakistani authorities to ensure the safety and security of the pilgrims.”More Related News
