Siddhant Chaturvedi recalls breaking up with girlfriend of 4 years, choosing between ambition and love

Siddhant Chaturvedi has opened up about his major heartbreak. In an interview, the Gehraiyaan actor recalled his breakup with a girl after 4 years of their relationship.
Siddhant Chaturvedi is currently basking in the good reviews of Gehraiyaan. The actor was seen in the film with Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa. While Siddhant's work life is always talked about, the actor hardly shares anything about his love life. But now, in an interview, he has opened up about his past love affair. The actor revealed that he had been in a relationship with a girl for 4 years. However, he called it quits with her as he wanted to become an actor.
In an interview with Filmfare, Siddhant revealed that he suffered a major heartbreak at the age of 20. Without naming that girl, Siddhant said, "I was with this girl for four years and wanted to settle down with her. I was quite sorted. I wanted to settle down with her and she wanted a simple life. I was doing my CA at that time but then I chose to switch my career. That didn’t go down well with her. We wanted two different things in life and that was really heartbreaking because I had to choose between love and ambition.'
The Gehraiyaan actor went on to add that he chose ambition over love. He also recalled telling his ex-girlfriend that he wanted to perform on stage and he would make sure that he would get there.
While Siddhant Chaturvedi had made his acting debut with Life Sahi Hai, the actor made his big Bollywood debut with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer Gully Boy. After that, he featured in Bunty Aur Babli 2, Gehraiyaan and now the actor will next be seen in Phone Bhoot with Ishaan Khatter and Katrina Kaif. Siddhant also has Yudhra and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Ananya Panday and Gourav Adarsh.
