Shruti Haasan and Vijay Sethupathi's Laabam to release in theatres on Sep 9

On Wednesday, August 25, Vijay Sethupathi took to Twitter to announce the release date of Laabam. Directed by the late filmmaker SP Jananathan, Laabam stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead.

Vijay Sethupathi, who was last seen in Netflix’s Navarasa, took to Twitter on Wednesday, August 25, to announce that his next film, Laabam, will release in theatres on September 9. Directed by SP Jananathan, Laabam is a socio-political thriller. Though there was speculation that the film will release on an OTT platform, Vijay quashed these rumours and said that Laabam will only release in theatres.
