The singer, after testing positive for Covid-19 on January 8, has been in the hospital for almost a month. Her health condition deteriorated on February 5 and she was put on a ventilator again. Her sister, Asha Bhosle, visited her on February 5.

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar has been receiving treatment for Covid-19 and other age-related ailments for almost a month. She is 92 years old. The singer contracted Covid-19 on January 8.

On February 5, Shraddha Kapoor and her mother visited ailing Lata Mangeshkar at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. A video of the same was being shared on social media platforms. According to the latest update by her sister Asha Bhosle, Lata Mangeshkar is stable.

Shraddha Kapoor and her family are distant relatives to Lata Mangeshkar. In a social media interaction, she said that Lata Mangeshkar's first cousin, Pandit Pandharinath Kolhapure, is her maternal grandfather. She fondly calls her Lata Aaji.

Back in 2019, Shraddha shared her childhood photo with Lata Mangeshkar on her birthday. "Happy 90th birthday to my beloved grand aunt Lata aaji @lata_mangeshkar (sic)," she captioned the post.
