
Delhi High Court protects Kajol's personality rights, orders obscene content removal

The Delhi High Court has granted interim protection to Kajol's personality rights, restraining misuse of her name, image, and likeness for commercial gain.
The Delhi High Court has passed an interim order protecting the personality rights of Bollywood actor Kajol.
The court restrained several entities from using her name, image, likeness, or other personality traits for commercial purposes, including the sale of merchandise. It also directed the immediate takedown of obscene and pornographic material published against the actor.
The High Court further observed that it would pass appropriate orders to prevent misuse of Kajol's identity through artificial intelligence tools, including deepfakes.
