Shortage of Covid vaccines in Mumbai, long queues and mismanagement at centres

Owing to shortage of coronavirus vaccines, several centres in Mumbai witnessed long queues and mismanagement.

The BKC jumbo vaccination centre, one of the biggest centres in Mumbai, saw a long queue since morning. People queued up since morning afraid that they might not receive the vaccine otherwise. Around 9 am the vaccination center announced that they received five thousand doses of vaccines. Senior citizens waiting outside the centre were given priority and allowed to enter the facility.
