Shiv Sena MP Bhavana Gawali skips ED summons, lawyer says she is suffering from chikungunya

Shiv Sena MP Bhavana Gawali on Wednesday skipped appearing before the Enforcement Directorate for questioning in a money laundering case, saying she is suffering from chikungunya.

Shiv Sena MP Bhavana Gawali on Wednesday skipped the summons issued to her by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering case registered against her and others. This is the second time that she has skipped her questioning in this case.

In a communication submitted to ED through her lawyer, Gawali stated that she is suffering from chikungunya.
