Shiv Sena MLA threatens to ‘put coronavirus in Fadnavis’ mouth’, BJP files police complaint

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday filed a police complaint against Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad for saying that he would put coronavirus in BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis’s mouth.

Former Maharashtra chief minister Fadnavis is being targeted by the ruling coalition in Maharashtra for objecting to Mumbai Police’s grilling of a pharma company’s top executive over alleged stocking of vials of Remdesivir, which is in high demand for treating Covid-19 patients.
