It is raining weddings in Bollywood! Recently, Farhan Akhtar tied the knot with his girlfriend Shibani Dandekar. The duo had been dating since 2018. On February 19, they took their vows and promised to be with each other forever. Now, a few days after their wedding, Shibani changed her name on social media, making it Shibani Dandekar-Akhtar.
Shibani Dandekar is now Mrs Akhtar, according to her new Instagram bio. The actress changed her name from Shibani Dandekar to Shibani Dandekar-Akhtar on Instagram. The diva tied the knot with Farhan on February 19 in Khandala.
Shibani's new Instagram bio reads, "Producer, Presenter, Actress, Singer...MRS AKHTAR (sic)."
A few days after their wedding, a picture of Shibani applying mehendi on Farhan's hands went viral on social media. Sharing a picture from their mehendi ceremony, designer Payal Singhal wrote, "Big Love to my girl Shibs who is now a Mrs!! @shibanidandekar and @faroutahktar thank you for finding each other you guys are adorable together #twopeasinaod. Wish you two your forever happily ever after (sic)."
Their wedding guest list included celebrities like Anusha Dandekar, Gaurav Kapur, Samir Kochhar, Monica Dogra, Ritesh Sidhwani, Rhea Chakraborty, Amrita Arora and Hrithik Roshan.
