Shehnaaz Gill usually refrains from talking about her personal life. However, in a recent interview with Shilpa Shetty, the actress spoke about her equation with Sidharth Shukla, and more. And now, in conversation with a magazine, Shehnaaz opened up about the SidNaaz tag given to her and late Sidharth Shukla by Sid's ardent fans. Shehnaaz said that it may be a hashtag for people, but it is a life that she lived and the tag will stay with her forever.

Talking with a magazine, Shehnaaz Gill spoke about the SidNaaz tag. "For people, SidNaaz was just a hashtag, their favourite Jodi, but for me, it was a life that I lived and experienced and it will stay with me forever. A big thank you to the audience who loved our pairing together and the hashtag as well. But for me, it was not just a hashtag, it was my everything," said Shehnaaz.

On Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's show, Shape Of You, Shehnaaz revealed that Sidharth Shukla always wanted to see her laughing. "Sidharth never told me to stop laughing. He always wanted to see me laughing, and I will always laugh. And I will continue my work because I want to move far ahead in my life," she said.

The actress also reacted to the trolls who criticised her for being happy. In response to this, Shehnaaz added, "If I get the chance to laugh, then I will laugh, I will stay happy. If I feel like celebrating Diwali, then I will celebrate Diwali. Because happiness is very important in life. I also try to do that by myself."
