Shatrughan Sinha joins TMC, calls Mamata 'tigress of Bengal'

Actor Shatrughan Sinha has joined the Mamata Banerjee-led TMC.
Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha on Tuesday, March 15, switched to Trinamool Congress from the Indian National Congress. Before that, Sinha was a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Taking to Twitter, Shatrughan Sinha said that he had joined the TMC at the invitation of the "tigress of Bengal", Mamata Banerjee. "Happy to share that on an invite from our own, tigress of Bengal, tried, tested, successful honourable CM, Bengal @Mamataofficial I have joined TMC. Shall be contesting under the dynamic leadership of a great lady, great leader of the masses in true sense, Mamata Banerjee," he tweeted.
