In a recent interview, Shark Tank India's judge Ashneer Grover spoke about deleting abusive comments from his social media profile. The founder of BharatPe was known for his blunt feedback on the show.
Shark Tank India and its judges became quite popular. However, one of the most popular judges on the show was Ashneer Grover. The BharatPe founder was known for his outbursts on the business reality show and being a tough nut to crack. However, with popularity also came haters. The entrepreneur's feedback did not go down well with many, which has resulted in an onslaught of abusive comments on social media.
Ashneer Grover's attitude on Shark Tank India, which got him fame, has also become a pain for the entrepreneur. Many have criticised the BharatPe co-founder for being rude to the contestants and some also take to his social media handles to express their anger and hatred towards him. Speaking to comedians Rohan Joshi and Sahih Shah on YouTube, Ashneer Grover shared the drawbacks of being blunt with his feedbacks on the show. He said, "Bahut gaali padti hai. Abhi bhi raat ko chhup chhup kar main 3 baje uth kar gande comments to delete maarta hoon (I get a lot of abusive comments. Even now, I sneakily get up at 3 am and delete abusive comments)."
Ashneer shared that he even blocks haters on social media. "I block them also and even select the option 'not only this person but any account they create in the future'," he said. He revealed that he finds people trying to click a selfie with him amusing. He added, "People often come to click selfies and I have to smile at two different cameras while they do that. I don't get it. If you want a selfie, get one with a pretty actress, why me?"
The other Sharks on the show were Namita Thapar (executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Aman Gupta (co-founder and chief marketing officer at boAt), Vineeta Singh (CEO and co-founder of SUGAR Cosmetics), Peyush Bansal (CEO and co-founder of Lenskart,) and Ghazal Alagh (co-founder of Mamaearth). The Sharks were recently seen on The Kapil Sharma Show. They had a fun interaction with Kapil Sharma, who made them spill the beans on various topics.
