Shaheer Sheikh pens emotional note after his dad's death, says he has left a void

Shaheer Sheikh lost his dad on January 19 due to a severe Covid-19 infection. The actor has now penned an emotional note for his dad that will leave you teary-eyed.
Shaheer Sheikh is going through a hard time right now. His father, Shahnawaz Sheikh, who was on ventilator passed away on January 19. Shaheer had informed his fans recently that his father has been hospitalised after contracting Covid-19. He was very critical and on ventilator due to the Covid-19 infection. The Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi actor has now penned an emotional note for his father on social media.
Shaheer Sheikh, who is very close to his family, is mourning the sudden loss of his father, Shahnawaz Sheikh. He shared some pictures of his dad on Instagram and wrote a long emotional note saying, "There is greatness in patience, kindness and humility There is happiness in giving to others And there is peace in honesty.. If there was ever a manual on the most incredible person, my dad was it. To lose him, to watch him go away has been the most painful phase of my life. He has left a void. In my heart. In my life (sic)."
Shaheer added, "But before that, he has filled my life with meaning and purpose. He has filled it with so much love and compassion , that I don’t think there is any space for resentment. I’ve been blessed to watch the glorious life he lived, to witness the love he gave to one and all, to see the respect he had for everyone big or small. There is no goodbye here papa, because a part of you will always live on in me. Thank you for choosing me to be your son. There can be no bigger honor. #loveYouPapa (sic)."

On January 18, Shaheer Sheikh took to Twitter to request his fans to pray for his father who was in a critical condition. He had informed his fans that his father had contracted coronavirus and was hospitalised. He took to Twitter to share the news with his fans and followers and wrote, "My dad is on a ventilator, suffering from a severe covid infection pls keep him in your prayers (sic)." Shaheer also shared a picture of his father.
