Ahead of Aamir Khan’s 60th birthday, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were seen visiting the former at his Mumbai residence on Wednesday evening.
Several pictures and videos show the two exiting Aamir’s residence. Shah Rukh, sporting a black hoodie, was seen dodging the paparazzi with the help of his security guards.
Meanwhile, according to many news reports making the rounds, the evening saw Salman and Aamir discussing the possibility of a sequel to Andaz Apna Apna, their 1994 comedy film written and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Interestingly, Santhoshi was also present at the birthday bash.
The three Khans, considered rivals in the business, are now well-known for the rapport they share with each other. The meeting comes just a few weeks after Salman and Shah Rukh attended the screening of Loveyapa, which marked Aamir’s son Junaid Khan’s debut theatrical release.
Last year, the three broke the internet by dancing together to the Oscar-winning RRR song ‘Naatu Naatu’ at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash. That evening also saw the three shake their legs to ‘Jeene Ke Hain Chaar Din’ from Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, ‘Masti Ki Pathshaala’ from Rang De Basanti, and ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ from Dil Se.
Notably, last week, Shah Rukh stole the show at the silver jubilee edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) in Jaipur. The superstar danced to several of his yesteryear classics such as ‘Say Shava Shava’ from Don, ‘Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha’ from Chennai Express (along with Madhuri Dixit), and ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ again, this time on top of a train set.
On the work front, Shah Rukh is currently working on Sujoy Ghosh’s King. Salman Khan will be seen in AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar, which is set to release for Eid this year. Aamir’s next is Sitaare Zameen Par.
